St. Augustine (Alaska stratovolcano) stirs

Do any of you live up in the Cook Inlet? St. Augustine Volcano has shown recent activity. Please read about the tsunami potential from Augustine activity recently posted by the WCATWC:

http://wcatwc.arh.noaa.gov/Augustine/AugustineWeb.htm

Keep in mind that any tsunami generated from an eruption or a flank collapse would dissipate rapidly with distance, owing to geometric spreading. Flooding danger would be limited to parts of the Cook Inlet & environs.

Stay safe, be well, be happy!

what with all the activity in the ring of fire, do you suppose Lassen or Shasta might awaken? Neither are dormant to my knowledge...and how is Mt. St. Helens doing? any news there?
