Afghanistan/Pakistan Rocked Again
Another powerful quake in Afghanistan/Pakistan. Sadly, there will undoubtedly be many casualties in a quake this size.
From http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/eq_depot/2...c_gnay_nr.html "The following is a release by the United States Geological Survey, National Earthquake Information Center: A strong earthquake occurred IN THE HINDU KUSH REGION, AFGHANISTAN about 105 km (65 miles) south- southeast of Feyzabad or about 90 km (55 miles) west-northwest of Chitral, Pakistan at 2:47 PM MST, Dec 12, 2005 (Dec 13 at 2:17 AM local time in Afghanistan). The magnitude and location may be revised when additional data and further analysis results are available. No reports of damage or casualties have been received at this time." Thank you again, Mr. Quake Patrol. Perhaps a falling boulder hit Osama in the head.
