How'd you like to live across the street from them?;)

sara1998 12-02-2005 07:25 PM

Very cool! That would drive me crazy if I was a neighbor!

Brwn_eyes0511 12-02-2005 07:55 PM

....I would kill them!

That is the most incredible christmas light display I have ever seen. And I want to do it at my house...

Sigh.

But uh. Anyone know what song that is?

Livia 12-02-2005 09:12 PM

Sounds like the Trans Siberian Orchestra to me.

johndoe 12-02-2005 09:30 PM

Thats what I thought, but I thought they only had that one song...

Livia 12-02-2005 09:33 PM

The one w/ the kick-ass video? They're on tour now, I think they have a few albums out.

I have just spent am insane amount of time on that site!

Oh, and the Christmas lights are very cool. I wonder where that is.

That's awesome. It must have taken forever to set it up. I think if I were their neighbor all those lights flashing would drive me crazy really quickly.

catinthedark 12-02-2005 11:07 PM

Man, I had to stop watching about halfway through. I was afraid I'd have a seizure.

So, for the much more electronically-challenged among us (uh, me), can anyone explain how this would be done? I was watching it going, this can't be real. It must be a video made on computer. Is it?

irishgrl 12-02-2005 11:14 PM

I cant see anything? does it need to load or something?

Try being...

the neighbor to the 2,000,000+ lights at Chickasha's reknown "Festival of Lights" (Which we did our yearly visit to last night.)

Traffic out the yin-yang (Since it is the largest display in the state) and loudly played Christmas music on the PA, Horse drawn carriages but still a great attraction, You can check it out at the following link:

Theres a place around here called the Lynn-Fells Parkway, and its a yearly tradition for every single huge house on it to lose their **** decorating. And even on the roads that go off it, you have like all of the tackiest crap you can imagine. Its grand.

Have you ever heard of Santa Land...
http://www.santalandtexas.com/

It's right up the road from my house... 24 acres of Christmas Lights....you can see this sucker from outer space...i'm sure of it.

I live right by this gorgeous light display, it's called Hartwood Acres and it's based around an old mansion that sits on the grounds. It can get annoying, but it's only once a year and nothing is better for the holiday spirit.
