The bat mitzvah went pretty well, though Kenny G harrassed me over cutting "Dial the Number" from the Mirror album. I told him it wasn't my fault, that Rupert waited until I was doped up enough so that he could remove it. He didn't believe me and swung around so fast that his long curly hair swatted me in the face. I thought he was a real cockadoodie for that. Took a lot of strength for me not to slap a bitch. Brooks originally asked me to program the iPods for the goodie bags at the bat mitzvah and said he'd throw in another hundred grand if I did it. I guess he saw me on the Today show talking about how I did it for the soldiers. We can't forget those soldiers because, well, you know, they're fabulous. Almost as fabulous as my fabulous stage clothes and the fabulous top hats with the fabulous big feathers. Maybe even more fabulous. I don't know, they're just fabulous. But, yeah, like, I told Brooks that we have to do our duty and visit them because their parents can't be with them all the time. They have lives. I didn't have time to program the iPods, though, because he didn't give me enough time to practice. I told him one month is not enough. If two weeks isn't enough for a Katrina benefit, I can't possibly program all those iPods in one month. I performed well, though. I'm still cute and, hey, I rock. Anyway, yeah, I really wish that Chrissie Hynde would stop attending those PETA protests. She could break her fingers and we need those beautiful fingers to write those beautiful songs.
