Answer to Taku's Las Vegas Benefit Rumor

This was taken from Yahoo

Hello.. I just read the weekend paper here in Las Vegas and it stated that
Stevie Nicks was the surprise headliner at the Nevada Cancer Institute's
annual Rock for the Cure at the Mirage Hotel. I wish that I would have known this
as I would have camped out for tickets to this event. I also had that day off
from work.. Darnit.. Did anyone hear about this and / or go to this event?
I remain Enchanted.. MIKE

Does she get some type of tax write off from doing this?

that saves me from a third cross-country flight, whew.

Wow that was a bit spontaneous of her.

Never mind all these silly stupid "appearances" & concerts. Aren't you kidlings concerted out yet on Stevie Nicks?

What I want to know is when will Taku "Helen" Hirano come post on our ledgie board here?

 Bite your tongue!!

I've been "concerted out" for years... I want more and more studio recordings!
Grrr.

I don't think anyone went but Jessica posted about this on the seven wonders board last week (after she was called a liar for suggesting Stevie had done a private gig  )

Pip

When was this and what did she sing?

Well, it was awesome, she did a very short set, but it was filled with gems:

(Deep Dish Dreams/Bootylishus intro)
Angel
Violet and Blue
Gate and Garden
Belladonna
Imperial Hotel
Alice

(Encore)
Straight Back
Forest of the Black Roses

Jessica posted here too:

And I emailed John Kinney, who responded and said that it was a private event, not open to the public. So there ya go! :wavey:

Hrmmm.....Landslide and Stand Back, maybe? ;)

NO FRIKEN WAY!! Are you kidding!!!

He definitely is.
