A long time ago, probably 1981, there was a radio special on Stevie. I can't remember which one it was. It might have been the NBC Source program.

There was talk of the "Letter to Patrick" at the City of Hope, & a preface to "Rhiannon" as an ancient tale of timelessness, mystery, tragedy, romance & madness, while stirring strings were playing in the background.

Does this ring a bell (through the night) with anyone? If you have it, could you post it? I'd love to hear this most excellent radio special again.

Thanks, Lisa!! Now do I or don't I have an outstanding memory? This was one of those great old shows I taped off the radio when I was ... oh ... let's say younger ... & all these years later I still remember the gist of these programs.

Now, let's all talk about the "Letter to Patrick" episode. What do we think of Patrick? of Stevie's treatment of Patrick? of Patrick's family?

Also, Lisa, do you have the Off The Record snippet with an additional info about "The Letter to Patrick'? I might have that on some old cassette somewhere, but I don't like to rummage through my tapes any more.
