Bob Marley

Ha, finally! Sly And The Family Stone! A personal musical bible for me. There's more creativity in one of their songs than in whole albums today.

Impossible to choose between these two. But I picked Bob because of his personality.
Can I suggest one?
Sly and the Family Stone.
I love both of them, but I went with Bob. His music puts me in a good mood and reminds me of summer.
Sly. Simply the essence of cool.

I'll never forget seeing Sly on television circa 1970-1971. He had a massive band then, complete with a horn section if I remember correctly and they did this 20 minute version I Want To Take You Higher. They were dressed like total freaks (I mean that in a good way) and they rocked hard. The most fun thing about it was watching the look on my parents faces, like "WTF is that?"
Both are freaks and pioneers, so it was basically a coin toss for me.
