My version of Some Become Strangers

I just did this today when I got off work and I think it turned out ok. There are a couple of times I'm off key, but I was happy with it; especially the backing vocals. There is only one Stevie backing vocal track, the rest are me. In order to hear me, I had to turn the music way down so sometimes it was hard to hear where I was in the song. Hope you enjoy.

Excellent job, Jason!! The sound quality is a little faint -- when you post other song clips, could you crank up your input or something?

You're such a good singer. Why don't you join a band or start your own band? Have you ever wanted to do that? It's a bunch more fun than just singing along to tapes--it really makes you think you're a rock star! Lots of bands would probably love having a talented singer like you on their front line; or you could start your own band & play nothing but Stevie Nicks stuff.

Wow, Jason. I downloaded it, hit play on QT, closed my eyes and enjoyed. Your "maybe you..." part was really cool. Thanks for this.

Thank you, Jason, this is really good. I love your voice - there's a lot of emotion in it.

Okay guys...here's a stupid question. If I have AOL 9.0, why do I get a message saying this file is too large for AOL to support??

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Bob

I don't know anything at all about AOL. Sorry I can't help, Bob. :(

Coming from you, my heart skipped a beat. I really really appreciate that. I actually realized after recording it that I could have turned up my vocal more, but I didn't feel like re-recording...lazy, I know.

I have actually tried to put together a band for the past couple of years but the music scene here is more emo, punk and redneck rock (as I call it)...but I'm still trying.

This is an "instrumental" version of the song I found on some mix tape I had and I recorded it with GarageBand. I wish the quality was a little better...sorry for that. I'll post more once I get a better understanding of how to work GarageBand. Thanks again.

Yeah...sorry about that, I'll try to get a better vocal next time. Next up is No Spoken Word I think. So, be on the lookout for that.

I totally don't know how to respond to that, but I thank you very much. I'm so  that I can't even speak...lol. Hopefully, once I get used to using GarageBand a little more, you'll be able to hear me more clearly.
