I went to the one in Galveston a few years ago. You could always try that if N'Awlins is still "iffy." I know it's not quite the same, but we had a blast!

I feel it is my civic duty to go. However, I can't afford it right now. :laugh: But I would love to go to Nawlins soon. Mardis Gras is insane and once may have been enough for me. Everyone should probly go once.

I went when I was 16. I remember eating 2 dozen oysters in a bar on Bourbon street. MMM

I'll be in St. Louis (of course) 2nd biggest Marti Gras celebration in the country. :nod: Well, it could possibly be the biggest this year. :shrug:

Actually everyone is stoked about Mardi Gras...30 of the 34 original parades have already signed up for Feb....woowee! The govenor wanted to cut the partying time in half...but the folks of New Orleans want to go full force...This might be the biggest yet from tourists alone.... pack your bags and drive on down and party with us!
