Has this been discussed already?

It's just a bogus profile made by a fan. There are tons on MySpace.

ontheEdgeof17 11-10-2005 07:45 PM

yeah....the name teedee rings a bell.

jannieC 11-10-2005 07:47 PM

That is so odd. Truly.

No way Jose, sorry, I ain't buyin' it.
I doubt she has the time, just for starters,
and didn't she say recently that she doesn't like
the Internet very much?
Plus, if you notice, all three of those photos are VERY
easily available on Nicksfix - let's see some photos that aren't
all over the freaking Internet already!
And at this point, i m o, it's pretty much gotten to be common
knowledge that Stevie's nickname as a child was "Tee-Dee"
(and would she have used that any-way???)

By the way, her friend Sheryl Crow has one also, which she updates
frequently, complete with photos of her boyfriend.
Except, that's her EX-boyfriend, and she just recently got married
to some one else.

Nope. No way. Not one chance in several hundred billion.
Just take this whole concept, and hold it out over a building -
it'll float in the air just like bricks don't. . . .

A blog is like an online journal- only you can post to it as many times a day as you want.

Here's a definition:

A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people.

People maintained blogs long before the term was coined, but the trend gained momentum with the introduction of automated published systems, most notably Blogger at blogger.com. Thousands of people use services such as Blogger to simplify and accelerate the publishing process.

Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, "blog" seems less likely to cause confusion, as "web log" can also mean a server's log files.

If you want them to. You could make it public or private. If you want it to be private, you password protect it. That way, pople have to ask you for the password to read.

reebokandlace 11-10-2005 08:45 PM

But why would someone do this? I mean...why not pick up a paper and pen and keep a written journal? I would worry that someone would hack into my online journal....

I'm more consistent with my online journal than I have ever been with my paper journals. Plus, you get feedback from people. I started mine in 1999 as a way to express my thoughts and feelings going through infertility. I met a lot of women going through the same thing and I just kept up with it.

Enchanted_Stevi 11-10-2005 09:26 PM

Er... Sheryl hasn't married Lance yet I don't think. They are engaged though. What photos are on there?

melly 11-11-2005 08:21 AM

Hmmmm. she's only written one entry.. not very prolific. I thought she wrote in her diary daily?

It might be amusing if it actually had "messages" from "Stevie".. I don't really get the point of it otherwise. Tho' the fan messages are ok..
