Do you think someone is going to spend 1,000 dollars on a necklace that could have been handcrafted at a pawn shop?

I'm sorry but I think that's stupid...hence the fact there are no bids

funny yous hould say that, he sells stuff like that all the time & gets the money for it~i have bought several stevie items from him & all have seem to be legit tho, i am a 31+ yr collector & would trust them over alot of what you see out there~

OH but it has a "Certificate of Authenticity!"

krrrby 11-05-2005 01:42 PM

yeah but notice how small the certificate is on the page, you can barely see it...

...to me, that's fishy enough right there

and to be honest, anyone can make that and photoshop it to make it look all nice and dated, but still shiny

that's just my opinion though

he is~ & nobody should put stock in something just cuz it has a COA, i could make 1 up on my puter, but over the yrs he has been known as reputable, he had the inagural jacket stevie received when FM played for clinton & he got 8000.00 for it~

I have seen his stuff before. I always wonder how he gets his hands on it and who he is. I know she is supposed to be generous to her friends and crew, giving them stuff, but he seems to have alot of things she would give to people only in her very close circle. Also for alot of those years she wasn't in her right mind, so who knows if she was so picky about who she gave stuff too. Or is he just a collector?

Isn't this the guy who supples to Destiny Galleria?

I have often wondered if it is Chris Nicks trying to make a few bucks on the side.

You're right... I've often wondered about the same thing especially with some of the items they've had for sale.

It's so easy to pass stuff off as someones and just rip people off - especially with out a picture of them either wearing it or something like that.

But these auctioneers have had some interesting things up in the past.
