Is it just me, or has W essentially made no big deal of her passing - 2% indeed :shrug:

Also, when she lays (is that the correct form of to lie :laugh: ) - will W go? He certainly must.

I think he is busy with other things sweety! I don't think that means that he doesn't care...

I just heard that Congress approved for her to lie in State on Sunday and Monday. You can bet Shrub won't pass up that photo op, with his African-American approval rate at 2%.

EDIT: Oops - I missed yer second line Strand ... :sorry: But I think it's lie (as in lie down, not lie like the Repugs do).

I know you are talking about those. But what has that to do with Rosa Parks? Are you saying W leaked it to take heat off of him not properly giving one of the single most important women of the 20th Century her proper due?

There is no excuse for slighting her like that. She is and was a beacon of hope for millions for the last 40 or so years. Maybe if she had property with some oil, he might have noticed her more. Then again, it is highly likely he has no clue who she is, with all those, as his mother so eloquently and with compassion put it, "brown" nephews and neices :laugh: :rolleyes:
