How's your driving?? Dial 1-800-.....
OK. I'll be the first to admit, I am a complete road rager. I hate to drive. I get on 465 (loop around Indianapolis) and I get totally pissed off. This morning, I'm in the fast lane long enough to pass. So, I passed who I wanted to, and some jerk in a Grand Prix gets up on my ass trying to get me over. So, what do I do? Slowly get over in the middle lane. All the while, taking up both lanes, and reducing my speed at least 10mph. When he gets up next to me, I flip him off, and continue off to work. I would never do well in LA, because (no offense) they all drive like morons. I don't do well on a 6 lane highway, let alone a 10 lane. So, I guess my question is, how do you drive? Do you get as mad as I do? Do you yell and curse, or do you just let it all roll off your back?

No, I yell and cuss and make obscene gestures.
Actually, I thought I was bad...but there's a girl I used to work with who used to throw things (like glass Dr. Pepper bottles) out her window at drivers who pissed her off! She actually caused a lady to have an accident once. No one was hurt, but my former co-worker got into a lot of trouble. |
I no longer swear and make obscene gestures. I do wave & smile, which either annoys the crap out of people or pisses them off more. :D

I made my one mistake being a road rager and it tought me a lesson. I was coming up to a stoplight with a truck waiting to turn left so I went to move around him and as I moved over Mario Andretti comes flying up and screeches his brakes and almost hits me. I opened my window and let him have it. Afterwards, I thought I was pretty hot S*it. Well out of the corner of my eye, I could see his door fly open and his eyes had this look like he was gonna kill me. I sped through the light and this creep followed me through city streets at like 40 mph right on my ass. I'm so lucky there werent any children playing around there at that time. Eventually I was able to turn onto a side street and lose him. I've always been very careful what I do on the raod since.

I only drive a bike but that makes no difference, I curse at people just as much :o :D
One time some kid made an asocial move and I was so pissed off I actually caught up with him and told him to learn traffic rules or stay of the road. Oh well, people have called me names too. Bicycle traffic in the Netherlands can get crazy. |
