Booth Dead

A very fine critic, Wayne Booth, has died:

Booth's "Rhetoric of Fiction" is probably the cornerstone of my training & values as a reader -- at least among contemporary works -- along with the work of John M. Ellis (whom I've been plagiarizing here for years).

R.I.P., Professor Booth

I've never heard of him, but I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
