Anyone else going to see Depeche Mode???

I'm currently sitting in front of the computer with 3 browser windows open, my presale password, and a HP Pavilion seating chart in hand, waiting for 10am to strike. I'm sweating like a frickin' animal because I absolutely must get the best seats possible!

My last presale experience (Gold Dust Tour) didn't go well at all. So now I'm making myself a nervous wreck worrying about everything that might go wrong. If I don't get floor seats in the first 5 rows, I could quite possibly die.

Anyways, I know there are a couple other DM fans out there, and I was just curious if they were in a similar position. Wish me luck!!!

I wish you lots of luck, but I thought you learned the lesson about presales last time around! Unless you get something fantastic, I recommend waiting until the week before the show.

I'm thinking of going to the San Jose show as well. I saw DM a few times in the 80's. Wonder if DG still grabs his crotch every two seconds.

I know you were all anxiously awaiting my report, and I happy to say that after 6 searches, I ended up on the main floor in row 7, section 2 (center stage)!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

These are probably the best seats I've had for any concert, any venue, ever. Whoever did this presale had the right idea. All my searches came back with floor seating, not bulsh!t nosebleed seats like Ms. Stevie's presales. But I'm not bitter since that incident worked out in the end.

And Ricky, I would usually be disappointed if Dave didn't grab his crotch, but considering I'll be eye-level with it anyway it's no big deal. :)

Are they going to sing Knocking on Death's Door?

Post the chords to that.

$75.50. I was actually expecting them to be more. I guess I'm just used to paying sky-high FM prices...

12/7 at Madison Square Garden. But you probably already knew that ;).

You should definitely go, they're awesome live. I may not love their music as much as FM/SN, but as much as I hate to say it, their shows are waaay more entertaining... :o :sorry:

Great song! I doubt they'll play it, but who knows. Their sets are a lot less predictable than some other bands/artists who shall remain nameless...

My friend just got tickets for the Borgata show. That is GA tho. She will have to be there all day and I can't take off a Saturday all day. SO, there is MSG the week after. I am staying in NY the 7th and 8th and going to that show. That goes on sale in a week.

DM baby!!!!

Were there any presales for the MSG show? I understand they've been selling out pretty quick...

I'd love to see Depeche in concert, that is if they came through my town.

Bump.

Aargh. Three dates in Paris... In the huge stadium named "Palais Omnisport de Paris Bercy" at the end of February (in like 4 months) and all the good seats seem to have vanished already. Cry me a river

Did anyone grab "Playing The Angel" yet? How is it?

Neal 10-19-2005 01:32 PM

Bought it yesterday. So far I like it; the music's a little more aggressive (for lack of a better word) than Exciter with the exception of 'Precious', which really stands out because I don't think it sounds like anything else on the album...

Thank you, kind Sir. :)

My grabbing hands will grab all they can.
