Keith Urban concert at Red Rocks!!
 

Here are my pictures of Keith Urban at Red Rocks Amphitheater. Saw him last Saturday. It was the most AMAZING venue I've ever been to, the sound was perfect. Unfortunately, my experience had pros and cons.

Pros:

Seeing Keith at frickin' Red Rocks!!!!
The sound!!!!
The weather was perfect!!!
Meeting some very nice ladies that I sat next to!!
Getting a ride back to my hotel with a very nice fan club member.

Cons:

Sore legs for days after going up and down the frickin' stairs at Red Rocks.
Taking about 250-300 pictures, but only about 50 coming out decent. Due to my legs shaking and my not knowing how to take frickin' pictures.
Missing out on the fan club tailgate party.
Some of the fans weren't as friendly as I'd hoped.
Stupid, drunk people.

Yep, I already pre-ordered my DVD!! Also, I'm going to see it at the theater on September 26th (some of those profits going to the Red Cross for Katrina victims :) ).

Glad you had a fab time Christy and those pics are great! So nice to see a fellow Kiwi (he is, isn't he?) doing so well!How'd you get those last couple of pics, looks like you were backstage with him or something ;)

Not quite backstage. I was at RR very early...like 2PM and he came out on stage to take photos or video (not sure if that's a video camera or what). I was trying to be calm, take pictures and stop shaking (my legs were shaking so bad from the stairs :( ).

Keith is from Caboolture. Did I even spell that right? LOL

...errrr..thats dosn't look like anything remotely NZish..so I guess he a'int. :)

..well NO wonder I didn't recognise that word! I've googled him and he's a born Kiwi but grew up in OZ...that funny name says it right there!

Glad that you had a good time Christy. Your pictures still came out nice. Did you use the new camera? It is very hard to be still to be able take photos at a concert.

Yes, I used my Canon Powershot S2 IS. When I looked at the pictures on the lil screen, they looked so good, then, I got home and most were blurry. It was very disheartening. :( Ah well, a few came out clear, so I might make those 8x10s. :)
