I was just checking out some her art and Stevie more than likes it I think Sulamith inspired Stevie's look from the hair to the makeup to her clothes.
I'm sure this is obvious to all of you but it just occurred to me



Or perhaps Stevie recognized herself in some of these the drawings....I think Sulamith had a thing for wide eyed blondes (kinda like a certain curly haired guitar player :p )

I like Sulamith's work alot, not just cause Stevie likes her.... her pieces are very haunting.... I agree that she did see something of herself in these drawings, probably subconsciously, & can't quite explain why she relates to them.... Stevie has a very strong connection with angels & spirits, so she definitely would like the theme & mood of these drawings. I think its really wonderful that an artist (besides a singer/musician) inspired Stevie in so many ways... We like to imitate the things that we love, because we want them with us & around us always... Maybe dressing like Sulamith's angels & such, helps her keep Sulamith's spirit with her when she can't sit & admire the artwork (kind of the same way fans dress like Stevie).... I actually do the same thing with my own drawings... i like Tim Burton & Edward Gorey alot, so everything i create resembles certain aspects of their work.... and all my character drawings of children (especially the girls) look like Stevie in a way.... something i didn't even realize until my friend pointed that out :laugh: Even Stevie's drawings have a Sulamith-like quality about them....

:shocked: OMG it does! that's pretty eerie.... something's gotta give... maybe they knew each other in another life... that's the only explaination i can think of... :laugh:
