How are songs being eliminated?

I'm planning on doing one song per round. The song with the most votes gets to fly off on gossamer wings into The Land of Fairy Farts and Velvet Fountains (copyright Dissention) to be exalted on the same level as such masterpieces as "Gypsy" and "Trouble in Shangri-La" leaving the rest behind to starve on the island. :laugh:

Whoever is leftover at the end gets the dunce cap.
