Fleetwood Mac 30 Years Rumours

Hello everyone, just wondering, would anyone like to see this as the setlist for the 30 years Rumours tour:

The Chain
Dreams
Second Hand News
Never Going Back Again
Rhiannon
Bleed To Love Her
Gypsy
Eyes Of The World
Sara
I Know I'm Not Wrong
Landslide
You Make Loving Fun( covered by Stevie)
I don't Want To Know
Big Love
Gold Dust Woman
Oh daddy( covered by Stevie)
I'm So Afraid
Silver Springs
Tusk
Stand back
Go Your Own Way
World Turning 1st encore
Don't Stop 2nd encore
Songbird( covered by Stevie)

I think apart from World Turning and Don't Stop, Christine's parts should be left alone, because Chris and Stevie have totally opposite voices.

Isn't that the same set list they've already been PLAYING for the last 30 years?!?

I'd rather see them promote the 40th anniversary of the band in its entirety (with as many ex-members that'll agree to play) than see them play that old, tired set again. I'm sick to DEATH of that set list (or anything close to it).

God, I hate Rumours...hate it, hate it, hate it!

I'm pretty sure I already saw that concert two years ago.

(P.S. Do you mean "unwound"?)

It does sort of feel that they've been playing the Rumours tour for the past 30 years...

Okay, not quite, but a quick look at that setlist left me with a very familiar feeling. Of course, if they do this 30th anno thing, they should play ALL of Rumours (and I think they should only do it if Chris takes part), but I'd love to see some more obscure album tracks from Tusk, Mirage, TITN and SYW to round it out.

Just my 2 cents...

well thats one thing you and LB have in common

poor Linds, that Rumours ruined his career!!!

While I'd MUCH rather have a 40th FLEETWOOD MAC anniversary, I know this band all too well, and that may be a long shot. IF they only do a 30th RUMOURS anniversary tour, I'd like to see them mix things up a bit. Sure, there are songs that they'll always play, but here's what I'd like to see:

Smile At You
The Chain
Dreams
Oh Well
Crying In The Night
I Know I’m Not Wrong
Seven Wonders
Miranda
Rhiannon
Book Of Love
I’m So Afraid
Gypsy
Big Love
Landslide
Steal Your Heart Away
That’s Alright
Tango In The Night
Sara
Tusk
Stop Dragging My Heart Around
Go Your Own Way

Holiday Road
Don’t Stop

Four Strong Winds

No, my favorite line from Rhiannon is Dreams Unwind but there is a user that has dreams unwind. so I changed it to unwindeddreams. I know the correct pronnunciation is unwound but c'mon unwound!

How about if Christine did the AHI benefit?

I don't like that set list. It's the same old songs that we've already heard a 100 times (except for IDWTK). I prefer Steve's set list. At least that's a little bit different.

Since everybody is so bitchy around here here is the revised setlist... but I'm keeping the Chain as the opener( all christine parts are covered by lindsey and stevie):

The Chain
Dreams
Everywhere
Peacekeeper
Eyes of the World ( replaced by IKINW in later shows)
Say You Will

Never Going Back Again
Rhiannon
bleed to love her
Gypsy
Come
Sara
Hold Me
Go Insane
Landslide
Say You Love Me
You Make Loving Fun
I don't want to know
Big Love
Gold Dust Woman
Oh Daddy
I'm So Afraid
Silver Springs
Little Lies
Tusk
Stand Back
Go Your Own Way
World Turning
Goodbye Baby
Don't Stop
Songbird

Now Chili, dont make any of us beat you to death with your own dislike of one of the greatest pop albums of history. You know when you say stuff like that, it makes me wonder if you're really a fan or not. The construction of the songs is genius. But you know, I didn't grow up in the 70s...and those who had to listen to that album every day for the last 30 yrs are justifiably tired of it.

HomerMcvie 08-31-2005 10:11 PM

Tired old songs.
Is unwinded a word? :sorry:

I'm going to assume (and hope) you're being sarcastic here? 'Cause if not, I missed the memo that said someone died and made you boss of the 30th anniversary setlist. I don't remember anyone requesting one. But you opened the door, and everyone here has the right to weigh in.

If you were being sarcastic, my apologies.
