Tori Amos covers another Stevie song!

At Tori's concert on August 13 in Carey, NC, Tori covered Dreams. It was preceded by Playboy Mommy. I think that she found the lyrics a little challenging, but Tori can do no wrong and offered up a great cover.

"Most of you weren't born when this song came out...but my brother loved this song and he would play it for me and that's one reason why I picked it tonight" - Tori Amos

You've heard it? I didn't think the bootlegs from Cary were circulating yet. I was at the concert, and Tori had no problems with the lyrics, imo. It was a gorgeous cover.

Mikki, I'm STILL jealous!!!

By the way, if any Christine-heads are lurking, Tori also covered "Songbird" on this tour.

I have been scouring the Net for recordings of both, and haven't found them yet, either. Plus, Tori still has 4 "official bootlegs" coming, and who knows - the Cary show just may be one of them.

It's available for download now on the www.hereinmyhead.com site.

Thanks for the heads-up!
Wouldn't it be great if someone for once covered something other than "Landslide" or "Dreams"? (I know technically that has happened, but so rarely compared with these two...)

hereinmyhead is such a great site, as soon as i get MY computer back up i'll be there... her cover of Father Figure is A+, but my faves are For Emily and Famous Blue Raincoat.

Cool! Thanks for requesting! Hopefully you didn't think "it sucked", as Tori says on the clip - like anything she does would suck. (Be quiet Tommer. ;) )
