Maurice & Katia Krafft

There's a warmly entertaining documentary National Geographic did on
volcanoes in 1989, highlighting the work of the Kraffts.

This is the best -- but by no means the most spectacular -- of the
five or six volcano-themed specials National Geographic made over the
decades.

The Kraffts were extraordinary people & scientists. Let us never
forget them.

I'm sure I've seen their work. It takes a special kind of person to study volcanoes way up close that way. And thank goodness they did, because I love shows about volcanoes.

Yeah me too, I love those big eruptions.
