Fiona Apple has a new single and video!!!
 

After about 7 months of listening to Fiona Apple's "new" album, the highly unofficial Extraordinary Machine, finally some official news!!!
This was found in one of the music video crew's blog (Yes, the research goes very deep when concerning Fiona):

"So yesterday we shot Fiona Apple's new music video "Parting Gift" (see stills below).



It was beauuuutiful.

Shot in this empty ballroom in the Alexandria Hotel in downtown LA. There were smoke machines creating a misty fog. And everything was really old, giving it this faded elegant look I think Jim was going for.

Fiona was really sweet. I thought she was going to be kind of a biatch. I'm sure she can be. But it was a good day.

And our cute PA was there. Robby. So cute. MmmMMmmmm...

And there were chocolate chip brownies at Craft Services. I had about 5. I am evil..."

Fiona Apple is my hero. Her music is amazing. I still listen to Tidal constantly.

There are few artists who are my age who were around when I was a teenager who are like still around. She is exactly my age and she was my voice to the world, everything she said I felt.

People like Chris Martin of Coldplay or John Mayer or Ludacris who are also my age just don't hit it at home like Fiona does.

God I love her. I hope this album COMES OUT.
