Convert WAV to MP3?
 
so, I've been able to hop on the torrent bandwagon. yay!

and I've been able to turn them into Quicktime/WAV files, but to put them on my iPod I need them in MP3 format...any ways to do this? I tried changing the extension and that didn't work...

I use dbPowerAMP Music Converter whenever I need to convert files. Works like a charm! :D

Whoa, You prolly should be quiet about saying that u are palnning on converting lossless files to MP3, Some people may come after you for doing that. :laugh: ;) :wavey:

well, unless I'm going to sit in front of my computer to listen to them, it's only realistic that I would put them on my iPod. I'm new to the whole torrent thing so if I'm doing something wrong, let me know, but I don't think simply trying to put the songs on my iPod is hurting anything...

Right on. It's only when you start spreading that material in lossy formats to others that the hell's bells strike and the world keeps on turning so that you will never see the light of day. ;)
