Laguna Beach: The Worst Show Ever
 

This has to be the stupidest show I have ever seen in my entire life. Are they trying to pull this off as a cheap soap opera. I sit watching (the first time I saw it) and say, what is this. It is people talking, sitting on a couch, watching tv. Why is thisa show? Did their rich daddies do this for them?

Someone enlighten me.

Well, I have never seen this show, but I've seen and heard ads for it, and it does look like quite possibly the most vacuous show on television. And that's saying an AWFUL LOT!!! :laugh: But I guess if you can get a bunch of good-looking, rich kids together and follow them around, enough MTV watchers will be interested for the show to last indefinitely. Sad, but true.

I can't watch stuff like that because it honestly makes me angry. Not just bored, but angry. Angry that there are so many spoiled rich kids who don't even know what they have and are so immersed in their little drama worlds that they aren't even interested in using their power to make the world a better place, angry that enough people are interested in watching it to keep that trash on the air, etc. etc. So as a consequence, I avoid watching it. :thumbsup:

I was watching it this afternoon. Gawd, it is so fake it's not even funny. Hate it, hate it, hate it!

I also thought it was about a Stevie show - from the thread's title - :laugh: Then I realized that something like that would probably be in the Stevie forum rather than here :p

I have MTV blocked on my TV. My IQ drops 12 points every time I even get a glimpse of that ridiculous ****.

Oh man, I hear ya! And now I must leave the message boards because I'm sure they're not helping me either, LOL! There are plenty of good writers on here, but our choices of topic tend to suck me in even though it's not what I really need to be focusing on, ya know? I'm an addict, what can I say?! :]

I can't stand watching TV with my friends, because that's all they ever watch. I don't even like watching any kind of TV, let alone MTV.

I miss good music videos. They barely show the bad ones anymore, so the good ones go right out the window. :distress: :laugh:

I must say, I have this part of me that wanted to be that rich, spoiled, pretty teenager SO much. I watch this and even tho I am now 27, I want to be 16 and just like them. I guess it's therapy.

But if I look closer, and I do, it's fake. These kids have no clue about real life. They sleep around and care about nothing but themselves.

The first season had some good kids ..not all blondes...not all skinny...now with Kristin in the lead, she is extremely annoying and so are her "friends". They are horrible.

but I will still watch. I really like LC and Stephen LOL.

Agreed. Loved the first season but I don't like this group at all. Lo, LC, Trey, Deeter, etc. they were a good group. I didn't care for Kristin the first season and I still don't like her much. I like LC and Stephen too :laugh:

First season was actually good to me. Kristin's skank arse has ruined the second season.

Why oh why can't I find a friend like Lo?

:lol: I'm glad I'm not the only one. My roommate had The REal World on and then that show was coming on and just the intro made me :mad:. "Oh for f*ck's sake!" Then she changed the channel. :laugh: :thumbsup:
