Venice
 

I would like to know what you guys think of the band Venice, that is if you have ever heard from them.
They are from :D Venice California. On one of their albums they did their version of Landslide, it's pretty good. They also worked with Stevie.

The band isn't very well known in their own country but they are pretty famous in their home away from home, The Netherlands. I've seen them three times until now and come to the conclusion that they are a great live band. So if you ever get the chance to see them perform, go!

I did get that record with Landslide a few years ago and I thought it was alright. But got a little bored with them :sorry:
I haven't heard their latest things though, so I couldn't say anything about that.

I can tell you that their latest things sound a lot better then that particular record you talk about.

No, I'm not new. I haven't been here since I saw FM in Oberhausen. Been hanging around at other boards.

I WISH I'd gone to Oberhausen that tour, afterwards I heard of so many people I know (or got to know afterwards) who've been there! Do you know Werner, by any chance?

There are so many new people here.

Oberhausen was great, even with a 39 degree fever. I was sick as a dog and living on asprin that day.

By the way, we don't live that far apart if I remember correctly. I live close to Zuidlaren, I think you know where to find it.

Oh, I thought maybe you had met up with some people, I believe a whole group had done that. Werner's another Dutch fan I've known for years. (I haven't spoken to him in a while though, if you're reading this Werner, hi! :o)
