Official Stevie withdrawl thread

For those of us whose concerts are past. I am in total withdrawl mode wondering what stevie will be doing next. We have had such good access to Stevie/FM over the past few years, it is hard to imagine a significant period of time passing with no access.

Any thoughts?

Maybe she'll extend the tour. If not, I think she will "quickly" record either a solo record or start working on the Rhiannon project. Stevie is very active these days, for which I'm extremely grateful for. :xoxo:

I'll start early, cause I don't know if I can go to her shows here. And I feel you. Honestly, lots of people want new work, and all that, but the high I get from seeing her live never compares. I'd also like to add, if I don't see her in her pants, all thin, and singing Rock and Roll, I might die. :) I guess I'm having pre withdrawals, or very late withdrawals from Vegas....but....there were no pants in vegas...

Agreed. Live is the best way. i will forgo new material to keep the live performances going. Even if she just stays put in vegas for the occasional week.

Well, you could have colored me blue the minute I returned home from Houston. I'm still trying to figure out a way to make it to "just one more". I've got the frequent flyer miles to get me there, but the ticket price might be a little harder to come by. I'd have to find someone to go with me, too. My hubby is burned out on Stevie. :(

And for christ's sake, maybe if she keeps touring, eventually she'll bring out some more cool, not often heard stuff. I swear it's like pulling teeth with that girl, but we are getting a few new things. If only Stevie would consult the ledge for her setlist....

LBelle - wanna go to Vegas? ;) My hubby isn't burned out on Stevie, but he hates flying and it's a three hour trip to Vegas. He hasn't ruled it out yet, but he doesn't seem to be too sure and I'm dying to see the top hat! We have the flyer miles too, but plane rides don't agree with him. *sigh* Guess I shouldn't be too greedy...

As for the post-Stevie blues, count me in. After Cleveland, I had bad PMS and when we got home, everything seemed to go wrong and I started bawling. That was kind of embarrassing.

My only wish is that she'd drop the Rhiannon movie idea and give us one more solo album. Or an FM album. I'm scrambling to try and get in as much concert-going as I can because I came to the scene so late and am afraid I'll never get to see her again. http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a1...smiley-047.gif

I thought you were going to go to the Concord show for sure?

StevieNicksEO17 07-19-2005 10:59 PM

I saw her three times in two weeks. It's now been 15 days that I haven't seen her and it's driving me INSANE. Everytime I read a review, it makes me want to walk to her next show. Jeebus. She needs to extend this tour. NOW.

I'm always up for a road trip (or air trip). Where would you be flying in from? I'd be coming from Houston. What about tickets???? :blob1:

lbelle1214 07-20-2005 12:25 AM

Also, this isn't the first time I've heard about the Rhiannon project. I believe that's been in the back of her mind for years, so maybe she keep touring. My daughter is absolutely Pi$$ed off that she is thinking about doing that project because then her name (and her daughters) wouldn't be "special" anymore, and everybody would be named Rhiannon.

Yes, well, I'm giving it my best go. But I'm not sure yet. And you know, I really want those first few rows.

GardenStateGirlie 07-20-2005 12:34 AM

She would have to change her setlist for me to want to go again. I didn't know that it was possible, but I think i'm officially burnt out

I'm fighting the temptation to sepend more & see her again. I feel like an addict. As Whitney meant to say, I don't do crack, crack is whack, I do Stevie shows.
