LB's 'NGBA' Intro

I know Lindsey used to introduce NGBA with his little speech of "When you're happy, you create an illusion for yourself that you're never going to be unhappy..." I was just wondering if anyone conveniently knew what he said or had a copy of this song/intro they could pass along to me, as I'd like to transcribe what it is he exactly says. Thanks so much!! :)

I don't know if this is the exact one you are looking for. I know there are different variations to what he said. EDIT: Ok - this is totally not what you are looking for, but it's a good quote anyway! :woohoo:

Baton Rouge, LA 8/30/78 Concert
(about Never Going Back Again) "This song was written when I was... well, all of us were alot less happy than we are now and though we are alot happier now, the song still makes us miserable when we sing it."

Damn! You know, I've heard that too. I cant for the life of me remember where I heard it though. Maybe it was on the DVD-audio of Rumours? Someone around here is sure to know.

You might try the 1992/93 solo tour. I think that's where he said something like it.

This is actually the exception to the rule - a telling one, if you ask me. In this one he admits to being miserable when he wrote it, and I've always thought the song was quite bitter. Usually, though, and this is not verbatim, he says something to the effect of what the first poster said. When I get home from work (yes, I'm surfing at work lol) I'll look it up.
