My aunt got me into Manhattan Transfer years ago, but it's been ages since I've listened to them. Wow. Time flies.

Ick, I think it sucks. It's not loud enough and the hiss on some songs is atrocious (Comic Books and Calmarie, especially). No bonus tracks on the new ones, but oh well.

I love them. Vibrate, their album from last year, is REALLY good. You should check it out if you haven't heard it, they even cover Rufus Wainwright.

Very underrated.

I'll have to get Debbie's remasters, since I don't own any of her solo work. :sorry:

Cultured shmultured. My doctor cultured me last week

I remember all the other drama kids in high school going nutso over Manhattan Transfer. And Rocky Horror...and Streisand(sp?...whatever), ad nauseam...it crossed my mind more than once that I may want to act, and I may be a homo, but that the music was just NEVER gonna cut it for me

Well, I'll never be caught dead listening to that hag Streisand, but Rocky Horror? I love that ****. You simply cannot beat Sarandon singing "Heavy petting/It only leads to trouble and seat wetting" or Bostwick singing "You're a hot dog/But you'd better not try to hurt her, Frank Furter". That's fabulous ****, man.
