who's going to a live 8 concert?
 

I do know of 2 rather excited Ledgies who are getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to sit outside the Hyde Park gates and make a mad dash for the front row :cool: ...anyone else?

Yep...gonna be a L-O-N-G day for them !!! 16 hours (standing, sitting, whatever) all squished in and having the best time....
I wish I could watch it all day (we were hoping for the 1st Japanese concert on the tele, but no....) unfortunately, I have to work, with luck , all our customers will be at home, watching! :-)

A quick update on our 2 intrepid Ledgies..they were up at the Hyde Park gates at 5:50am this morning and apparantly now happily installed on the 1st row, in the "standard section" (not quite sure what this means, but sounds good)...having been watching the concert myself for the past 3 hours, can I just say Madonna looked and sounded wonderful! (despite letting loose at one point with the F word....) and Joss Stone, at 17, she is amazing!!

Yes, thats what I thought! However this "standard section" might be somewhere else, coz Madonna said to the folks in front something about it being a "golden circle" and there's a sort of semi circle of peps, then a line of police and then the main crowd..I suspect they may be in the latter (which a'int that close, but closer than being at the back!!) hahahaa
I have my taping orders as well...Pink Floyd :cool:

They do have their cell phones and have rung, but it's a madhouse out there and getting a signal is nigh impossible

Rawk on with your bad ass Ledgie selves. I wish I could have been there. I haven't really been paying attention to this because I've been so absorbed in going to the gym, doing laundry, making DVD copies, checking The Ledge. You know, the important stuff! Guess I'll have to get the DVD.

I'll definitely buy the DVD.

I think we sort of have to since the proceeds I'm sure will go to the charity. Have no choice really. ;)

It was the most incredible night ever, with of course Pink Floyd the act of the night (Although most were awesome too)

I'm too tired to write a review just yet.. I've had a total of 7 hours sleep since Thursday night and it's now Sunday evening!

I'll be back with a full review within 20 hours...
