Songs You Wish You'd Written

List a song that you wish you had written. Or a couple of songs...!

I never liked Hall and Oates all THAT much...but there is a beautiful song called "So Close" on their Behind the Music CD. I think it was an unplugged live performance. If I could write a song about a woman, or a girl that's been in my life, it would have been this one.

Any of Bacharach's hits!

I totally agree - "Is this a dreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeam . . . "

Dream a Little Dream of Me :D

Anything Russell Crowe has written

missing you by John Waite....that song is ALWAYS good.

That one immediately comes to mind for me, as well as "Blowin' in the Wind," and "Your Song."

At least not where you'd think
