Michigan vacation help
 

Okay, I know we have a few Michiganders (is that the right word?) out there. We are traveling to Boyne Highlands in Bay Harbor next week for a long weekend. We are going with a group of 8 families. We are planning to take a day trip to Mackinac Island. I looked into the ferries, and some have discounts like if you buy 2 adult tickets online you get a child ticket free. So do any of you know anything about Sheplers ferries or the Star Line Ferry? Also, if we wait to go there on Saturday, is it going to be a lot more crowded than if we do it on Friday? One of the families wants us to have our pizza party on Friday night, and we're thinking we won't get back from Mackinac in time for that. Thoughts?
