Back from Earthquake Central!!
Hello everyone! I just got home, and I'm glad to be back. I had a blast! San Francisco is absolutely beautiful, and I enjoyed that the most. We saw the Golden Gate Bridge. It wasen't as big as I expected, but it was pretty. We hung out at Pier 39, and took the tour of Alcatraz. Then we went to Santa Barbara just for the day to hang out at the beach. It was my first time seeing the Pacific, so that was pretty neat for me. Then we went to L.A. and Hollywood, and, I wasen't very impressed. We went through Beverly Hills and Bel Aire, which was quite the culture shock, and we walked down Hollywood Blvd. and checked out the walk of fame. I found Fleetwood Mac's star, and had my friend take my picture with it. So that was cool. Then we went back to Arizona, and just hung out and went to the pool for the last couple of days. I really enjoyed myself, but I'm also glad to be home. I will post those pics sometime..... LOL!!!!

The Pacific is cold and wild which is not much fun...when I went to Hawaii, the water was warmer and the beach was prettier....Ive seen pictures of the East Coast, where the beaches are pretty and untouched looking..must be on some remote part of the coast....
Anyway, what I remember about CA beaches is that they are wild and new, or young...they are not OLD beaches with a history....the beach sand is coarse and the beaches are not as big as what you might think....Santa Cruz is pretty nice and SF is nice...but if you like surfing, you need to head south... |
