Anaheim and San Diego, how did you do?

I was wondering how anyone did today for the Anaheim and SD shows that went on regular sale. I pulled up nada for Anaheim, but scored center section, near the aisle, row 5 orch pit for SD!! :blob2: I didn't expect to see much today, but I got lucky on those I guess. :D So how did you guys do?

Very dissapointing...no pit seats at all for LA. I'm waiting it out. Like you Anaheim sucked (closest I got was 15th row, screw that) so now I get to play the waiting game. I hate this! I have had luck in the past though with getting tickets the day before the show it's just very nerve racking. :distress: :distress:

Same. The best I got for Anaheim was 9th row, then 15th and back. I pulled up 5th row center for San Diego too, but I think I'm going to wait that one out. For Universal I got first row behind the pit, which I'm thinking I probably should have grabbed because it's nearly impossible to get pit seats there, even day-of.

Congrats - I know you were anxious about getting a good seat for Coors :).

Thanks Tiff! Do you plan to go to SD though?

I got that first row behind the pit too but gave it up. Why is it so difficult to get any pits seats?

Yeah, I thought the same thing so I grabbed those for the LA show, orchestra 1 row AA. Nothing for santa barbara or anaheim.

Good call! There were some pretty good seats available for Santa Barbara during the presale, believe it or not. I pulled 4th row, but I think I'm going to skip that one because I'd like to go to Concord the next day and that will be a long ride... too hard to squeeze in.

Jamie - I'm still going to San Diego... I love Coors Amphitheater! Would be cool to say hello at the show.

How come you are going way to Concord instead of SB?

Well, yeah. Hmmm, I naturally assumed you were coming to see me... ;) Or that perhaps you were thinking "I could really use an excuse to visit the lovely city of Concord again".
Nice attempt at the edit, but too late. :D That's a weird secret. Here, i'll take it out for you....

I didn't get tickets yet. I'll wait until the morning of the show & look for front row.

Remember, there are TWO row: the front row ... & every other row.

If you can't get front, the best thing to do is to go to a traditional Italian restaurant for some lasagna.

jkmaletic 06-06-2005 09:25 PM

David,
one doesn't necessarily need front row to get to the front row. You have the option (pending security of course, but Stevie's security should let people up) when you get tickets in the first 5-6 rows. Frankly, I think front row is overrated a little. You get smashed against the stage and your basically looking up her nostrils all night. Plus, Stevie doesn't look down at her feet to often. ;)
IMO, if you want the best eye contact when Stevie is singing, front row isn't the way to go.

I didn't pull up anything that I was satisfied with. I'm probably only going to Anaheim as it is, since Paul McCartney and U2 have exhausted most of my bank account. I'm going to play it by ear though.

Best I could do was Sec. 105, 7th row. :( Took a pass.
