The most ridiculous song you like(d) as an adult

Okay, I'm ashamed of this, but my song would have to be Brand New Key by Melanie. I think it's one of those songs that's so cheesy that it makes me crack up. What's worse is that I bought a cheapo CD just for THAT song.

What You Waiting For by Gwen Stefani. What a heinous song, but I love it.

Destiny's Child's "Bills, Bills, Bills"

It came out when I was still a kid, technically, but I still like it now. :o

The whole "Can you pay my telephone bills? Can you pay my automo bills?" is so bad.

I still LOVE "We Are Family"

 I'll admit, when Milkshake came out, it was catchy.

I liked that song by Dynamite Hack...Boyz In The Hood. Anyone remember that?

Ashlee Simpson. :o I don't know the name of the song because I listen to the CD as I drive. Please chalk it up as a side effect to all the good drugs I did in the 80's.

GypsySorcerer 06-05-2005 01:32 AM

"She Bangs" by Ricky Martin.

I purchased the CD when it came out. As studio-produced as it is, I still listen to it and it is still addicting. Autobiography?

You know what I think it is? I think I'm a John Shanks fan and that's what appeals to me about this.

Yep  He and his sidekick did a really great job producing her album.

I do like Autobiography. I like to sing Pieces Of Me to my daughter in this whack falsetto voice.
I also LOL when she makes the wounded dog sound in Love Me For Me. I can't explain it. :o

No doubt. They produced and wrote it. I can definitely see why Stevie wanted him to work on TISL, although others feel the need to excoriate him.

I know exactly what part you're talking about and it bugs the hell out of me because it has no place in the song
