Star Wars Episode III is awesome
 

Saw it on Monday and I promise, if you're a fan you won't be disappointed.
It has way more in common with the original trilogy than the previous prequels and some of it is actually quite shocking (it's even darker than Empire), plus it's great to see Vader on screen once again.
I can't wait to see it again!

I was going to go tomorrow night until I realized that I am assigned to cover our local Republican Convention :mad: Guess I"ll be experiencing my own "trip to the dark side" :p

On a side note- There was a bunch of Star Wars geeks camping outside of a theatre here, and it's not even being played at that one. :lol:

Oy, I'll wait for this weekend because the crazies will be out in full-force the first couple of days. I remember when I saw The Phantom Menace back in '99, cripes. I wanted to beat some of them over the head with their plastic lightsabers. That's why I only saw Attack of the Clones for the first time a few days ago, I didn't want to see it in the theater. But the new one? Looks yummy enough for me to go see it.

Actually I've become much more patient these days in terms of waiting to see movies :nod: when the first two came out? I HAD to see them opening night - same with the Harry Potters...

Now? I really don't actually mind waiting too much :D

Although - the bits I'm seeing from EP III just have me drooling to see it....

Ah well my aversion to crowds AND crazies will probably keep me waiting til NEXT week anyway...

I wanted to go the midnight showing tonight, but tickets are sold out. :( No I have to wait till tomorrow. I'm taking my four year-old, so this should be interesting. :lol: Is it sad that she already wants all the Star Wars toys? :laugh:

Me neither, save a few scenes from the first one. I just have no interest.

Merf made me watch one of them...I thought they kind of dragged the film out :shrug: Not a fan.
