One Week

Am I the only Meloncholy Baby around here?

It occurred to me today exactly where I was and what I was doing one week ago. Sigh.... In some ways it seems like yesterday because I'm still kinda floating. In other ways it seems like a lifetime ago because it all happened so "fast."

No, I'm sad too. I mean, I wanted to come home cause I was broke, but I never wanted to stop watching Stevie. Since I've been home, it's been all Stevie, all the time. :o In fact, I was crying only moments ago! :p And I miss the funny people, and talking about Stevie with like minds.

aww. I know. It's not as bad as my SYW hangover was, though. That one was terrible. At least crying is good for you. :o

How many SYW shows did you go to? I went to 2, really close together. Didn't have much of a hangover. Isn't that funny, I seem to only get them from Stevie shows. I had a hangover from the Aug 01 show when I was front row and got my picture with Waddy too.

Gotta go wash my face now... ;)

Me, too, two with one day between, right by my birthday. Maybe it was worse cause I just had to ride the bus home, didn't get to talk to anyone or anything. But, actually, I like the Mac all together anyway, it's very intoxicating to me.

Funny because I don't miss Stevie at all. I don't plan on seeing her again this year either. My last SYW show I was almost in tears.

I miss Stevie too and was really bummed when I left Vegas. All I've been listening too since then is of course Stevie. I'm hoping maybe she'll come to Calif. and I'll get to see her again.

Sigh... I feel the same way. When I got home, I would start flipping out if I thought about the shows I saw and now it will be a long time before I am able to see my queen again. (as a single tear rolls down my cheak. Actually, for whatever reason, I've had a heart of stone for like ten years and rarely cry. I didn't even cry during Beauty and the Beast!!!!! What is wrong with me?)

I go back & forth between being sad that it's over & being thrilled that I had so much damn fun & that I was blessed enough to see what I consider the best Stevie solo concert I've ever been to.

And the prospect of boots has really kept my excitement level up too.

I get nervous and anxious before the shows, like after I buy my ticket. But after the show, I only feel relief that I saw her again.

Hasn't been a week for me yet. It will be on friday though. Maybe it'll hit me then.
Her touring is keeping me going though, cause I know it's really not over yet! :D
