Anyone else grossed out by new Dove ads?
 

Something really gruesome about 4 women shaving their pits on tv. Something I don't need to see.

I do, however, like the ones (I think they're for Dove) with Thelma from Scooby Doo and Jane from Jetsons....getting lovely hair after using Dove loll...

Hey, it's no grosser than ads for tampons, birth control, midol, douche, FDS, or chocolate. I just can't wait until they use Dave Mason's "Let It Go, Let It Flow" for Stay Free, and you know that day is coming...

Actually, the best ad I've seen recently is an ad for M&Ms. They're playing strip poker, and the yellow M&M says that he doesn't want to show his "peanut" in public.

1 of my fav commercials lately is 4 those cheez it's twist things flavored cool ranch & chedder, there is a panel having a taste test i guess & everything they eat, (brownies, celery...) the panel keeps saying tastes like cool ranch & cheddar, i don't know y, but i crack-up everytime i c it :lol: :laugh: :nod: ~

YOu are missing the point.

We aren't seeing women insert tampons or dushing ( ok I can't spell it) but we are watching these women SHAVE their pits and then put ON deoderant!

I just find that gross

There is that commercial the womean shaves her "bikini area" beside her bikini bottom, that's pretty bad.

In the Netherlands there's a commercial with an animated bacteria crawling under a toenail, it's really disgusting even though it's a bleeping cartoon. Got an award even!

There is a really bad ad here...they have a family sitting in a park having a picnic...and the shot focusses in on the Dad's toe and it has a fungal infection in the nail...it's really disgusting.

We have that ad here, too, in the U.S. It's pretty gross.

I jsut watched a pad commerical for I guess Stayfree. Where a woman goes into the store, and stops other women who apparently are annoyed by the leaking. So, she pours a fluid on there and tells them to touch the product, and their all amazed simply for the reason it is Dry! Now, the women are like fondling the pad, and going "Wow."

It just freaks me out that a woman in their bathroom might be doing that like right now
