It was just on VH1 Classic - We Are the 80's... I was in the kitchen and thought I was hearing Stand Back! They sound so similar at the beginning....

Okay, I used to be GLUED to MTV in the 80's and I swear I never saw this video! WTF w/ the little ghoastie demon creatures? LB looks hot in it though! :wavey:

I remember thinking it was the Mac when I saw it because the chick in it resembles La Nicks.

Did you know it was nominated in 1985 for MTV Awards (Most Experimental Video and - Best Special Effects in a video)

Slow Dancing

This video was filmed in Buckinghamshire, England in a 900 year old home called Dorney Court. It was directed by Danny Klineman, who also directed Go Insane. It was shot on Halloween night over 26 hours.
The moon is nearly hidden behind a blanket of clouds. Lindsey is looking out the window of a large home. He quickly turns around and sits down to light a few candles. He spots movement out of the corner of his eye, but when he turns toward it, nothing is there. He stands up, scowling, and as he turns around a bright light shines in his face. He turns away to be met with the apparition of a woman. He reaches out to her, but she vanishes.

Lindsey gets a chill. He starts pulling sheets off of the furniture, unwittingly disturbing various ghosts. He looks out the window again to see a large party of ghosts dancing together. He walks outside and the lady appears again. When their hands touch, she becomes fully fleshed. They begin to dance. The ghosts gather around to watch. Lindsey kisses the lady, and they continue to dance as the video comes to a close.

I love that video--one of my favorites from Lindsey. He does look incredibly HOT in it :nod: I haven't seen it in ages. Anyone have it to send to me via e-mail??

That is one of my favorite, Lindsey videos, maybe my favorite. It is really unique, and I love the part where he is dancing with the girl ghost that keeps disappearing. Also, I find it interesting that the disappearing ghost girl bares a striking resemblence to Stevie. ;)

I think LB said he did the storyboarding for that vid. Hmmm?
I think it was either that one or Go Insane. Maybe it was both?
Which got nominated for the video awards?

I have this video on VHF from a Fleetwood Mac weekend marathon from MTV years and years ago. Yes, LB looks HOT!
It's a great song -- I almost always like his solo material better than his work with FM for some reason...

It really does sound like 'Stand Back' at the beginning of it, doesn't it? I noticed that too! It's a great song, and without a doubt, Lindsey looks absolutely HOT in that video. :nod:

Ahhh. My favorite Lindsey video. I swear he is "tracking his ghost through the fog". No coincidence in my useless opinion. :lol: The chiffon clad ballerina girl looks just like Stevie! The concept is so interesting with the candles, the moon, fog, the ghost girl with ballerina slippers dancing around just out of LBs reach! :thumbsup:
