Landslide on David Duchovny's iTunes playlist

Here is what he says about the song:

"Yeah, I know it's kinda weak, but Stevie Nicks feels it and I went through my first break up with this song. Sue Me."

Ha! he should subscribe to the "Never apologize, never explain" rule! Ain't no shame in Landslide! everyone and their mother likes that song! Hello?

Are we back to Stevie and Fleetwood Mac fandom being embarrassing again? I thought we, as a nation, got over that in the late 1990s... :distress:

Gawd, it's so wrong, but I can't help but have visions of the teacup photos race through my mind.

I think he means the song is weak as in minimal or something. He then compliments Stevie for bringing emotion into a someone "weak" song as he says. I don't think he is putting down the band. And I think people consider Fleetwood Mac, or at least Stevie, kind of cool these days.

It's just the typical guy line, of trying to explain something they think is "soft". Pay no attention, he knows that song is brill. He's just covering.

I'm sure all the guys that have covered it will be glad to know they're "weak". In the mind of that nasally sounding fella from the X Files anyway.

I always had the feeling David Duchovny was a "Sugar Daddy" kinda man.
