NaiveMelody23 04-13-2005 10:59 PM

Me neither. I was riding my bike this weekend and came across an iPod lying in the middle of the bike trail. Of course it had been smashed to bits considering it's basically nothing more than plastic -- the largest piece left was about 2/3 of the center scroll wheel. All I could think was, "Well that's $300 of some kid's allowance down the drain."

I remember my first (knockoff) Walkman in 83 or so, that I bought for $40 (a fortune!). That sucker was indestructible. I dropped it getting off the bus during band trips countless times, and it never failed to play. I had to clean it often tho -- I can't tell you how many cassette copies of "Mirage" it ate.
