The videos you have never seen.

according to saintbernard ledgie, this is the list of formal mac videos:

1979 (Tusk):
Tusk

1982 (Mirage):
Gypsy
Hold Me

1987 (Tango in the Night):
Big Love
Everywhere
Family Man
Little Lies
Seven Wonders

1990 (Behind the Mask):
In the Back of My Mind
Save Me
Skies the Limit

2003 (Say You Will):
Peacekeeper
Say You Will (I think there was a video for this song. Or am I thinking of the AOL Sessions thing?)

Miscellaneous:
As Long As You Follow (1988)
Love Shines (1992)
Paper Doll (1992)

Now, what videos have you never seen? Or even know they exist?
My list:
Family Man
In the Back of My Mind

WildInTheWind 04-07-2005 07:02 PM

I've never seen any of the behind the mask videos. I may have them though, but I don't think I've watched them yet.

The only ones I HAVE seen in full are:

Tusk
As Long As You Follow
Peacekeeper

Never seen:

Everywhere
Family Man - Didn't even know one existed.
In the Back of My Mind - "
Love Shines - "

Also, there were videos for Sara (from Tusk) and Silver Springs and Landslide (from The Dance). They were just clips from the Tusk Doc and The Dance, but they did show them on the "music" channels... And were there no videos at all from Time?

Never Seen:

Family Man (there's a video for this?!)
In the Back of My Mind
As Long As You Follow

The video for Family Man is atrocious. Basically just stock footage of impoverished families and children strung together with the song playing in the background. I'ts not even worth seeking out, IMO.

Family Man as a song is atrocious, i can't believe they made a video for it... wouldn't you love that to be on your creds?

There isn't even a single band member in it.

I am with Nancy - I can't believe there is a video for this nightmarish song. Maybe LB paid to have it done, who knows?

I haven't seen it (obviously) and I haven't seen In the Back of My Mind, either.

Alexbt 04-07-2005 10:21 PM

I have seen:

1979 (Tusk):
Tusk

1982 (Mirage):
Gypsy
Hold Me

1987 (Tango in the Night):
Big Love
Everywhere (Some of it? There are also two versions of this)
Little Lies

2003 (Say You Will):
Peacekeeper
Say You Will (I think?)

Miscellaneous:
As Long As You Follow (1988)

Ehhh, I can't stand all the family man bashing that goes on here. The song is very far from a nightmarish song. It's more like the best song on Tango in the Night.

Actually that's not entirely true. Well, unless there's an alternate version out there.
The video I've seen consists of stock footage, as you said, AND clips of the band lifted directly from the "Seven Wonders" video. They didn't even use outtake footage!

I still wonder if the "Family Man" video is really "official," or if it was just something that was slapped together by the Australian branch of MTV to represent what I'm told was a big hit single there.

That's going some! But, then, I think "When I See You Again" is the best song on the album... so I'm not one to talk.

I do love "Family Man" though. I've thought it was a terrific little song from the first time I heard it, and I never tire of it.

wondergirl9847 04-07-2005 11:51 PM

I've seen them all

Family Man the song - awesome, love it, the guitar is phenom.

Family Man the video - Blergh.

The best songs on Tango in the Night....Tango in the Night/Little Lies.

Runners up: Isn't It Midnight and Big Love.

macfan 57 04-08-2005 06:00 AM

The only videos on that list that I've never seen are:

Family Man
Peacekeeper
Say You Will

I'd never heard that there was a video for "Family Man". Considering the way everyone is describing this video, I don't think it's worth it for me to look into trying to find it.

My favorite videos that I've seen are:

Little Lies
Hold Me
Love Shines
Gypsy
