Health Warning
For those of you who watch what you eat... Here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting medical studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans. 2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans. 3. The Japanese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans. 4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans. 5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans. CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you. Sorry I just saw this and thought it was funny and wanted to post it     :p |
   That is funny. Looks like I'm screwed!

Oh dang
*Goes to learn Russian or something*
I do eat what I want....fatty foods, sweets, chocolate, etc. I'm sure I am a ticking time bomb, but I haven't gotten to the age where I care yet. LOL |

True
When I went to England in 2003, I don't remember seeing any overweight people. I came home and EVERYONE went "OMG, you look great! You've lost weight!" I was feeling so good about myself and now...in 2005, I'm a fat slob again. LOL I walked every day and ate less there. When I left for London, I was close to 140, and coming home, I was like 120-something. I just weighed and I'm now 136, and short too, 5' 1", but have some muscle. If I could just tone what I have, clothes would fit and look better on me. :( I'm your typical lazy American. LOL
If Fort Worth was mapped out like London, I'd be thinner, but since we have to drive everywhere in the US....it's hard to make myself exercise. Walking seems to work for me, I just need to get up and do it. I'll get into a habit for a few weeks, then quit. That's the way I've been all my life. ZERO motivation. My friend just had a baby, but hopefully, this spring/summer, we will get together to go walking. We have talked about it, but it's just a matter of when she's ready. :) They have WAY less fast food joints in England and stricter government rules on food, I think. The walking certainly helps too. |
