1978 - Rolling Stone reports Fleetwood Mac is working on final adjustments to perform at Moscow's 3,000 seat Russian Concert Hall on July 8, 9 and 10th. Their advisor, Michael Shapiro admits, "Everything of course, depends on world peace." |

Yeah, I remember that. Actually they were suppposed to play in Providence on July 1 and 2 of 1978. I guess to kind of warm up for the Russian shows. I even had tickets to those 2 shows. The Russia tour fell though and so did those Providence shows. Boy, I was not a happy camper either. |
John has said that not doing those shows in Russia was a big disappointment, and he 'would've liked to have seen that. That would've been exciting.' I'm not surprised it all fell through, but still, it would have been cool for FM to have played over there.....
