just wondering if anyone taped these interviews..i'd love to hear them.

On March 17th two radio stations in Vegas broadcast interviews with Stevie:

97.1 The Point (Classic Hits): In this interview Stevie mentioned that she likes American Idol and would definitely try out if she was a young aspiring singer. She also said that a back-up singer who had not performed with her for a long time would likely sing with her at the Vegas shows.

Star 102.7 (80s Music): Stevie said the Vegas shows would have to be much bigger and flamboyant than a normal show, something that would be too much to take on the road. She talked about seeing both Celine and Elton at the Colosseum and being amazed at the massive size of the stage. She also discussed how she will pick songs for the show (lots of discussion with input from her associates) and said that she will be bringing out a lot of her old costumes that she hasn't worn in years. She also promised lots of spinning (the DJ wanted to make sure that would be part of the show).

"She said she keeps things casual and basic with Fleetwood Mac because that's what Lindsey likes, but with this show she wants to go crazy.


When asked how she will pick the songs, she said that she and a bunch of her friends (including Waddy) have been sitting around going through all the albums and that they had about 50 in mind as possibilities.

They have to narrow it down considerably. Caesars wants the show to be exactly 90 minutes. When asked about her clothes, she said she was going to be digging out all her old costumes including some things she has not worn in years.

The DJ made a joke that it would be terrible if her assistant handed her the wrong shawl for a particualr song, and Stevie joked back that when that happens (and it has) she really flips out, so people are careful not to make that mistake very often. It was really funny. When the DJ asked if she would spin (that's his favorite thing), Stevie said that she will not only spin, but she will spin in many different outfits. "

I thought of that, but mine isn't very well behaved, whomever buys her would probably end up returning her! :laugh:

This is so exciting, I wonder what she means by "flamboyant"? I wonder if she'll hire dancers or do crazy lighting or backdrop video... maybe she will even take the microphone off the mic stand! One thing is for sure, we can expect lots of extra twirling!

We should have a poll on:

Will she wear the Frankenboks or her real boots?

Will the top hat & feather make an appearance?

I'm thinking it will be the real boots! I don't know, if she's pulling out all these crazy clothes, I can't see her wearing the tennis shoe boots.

Yeah, I think she can make it 90 minutes in Platforms- however, if she can barely move in them I'd rather she just wear sneakers. I'd rather have lots of dancing in reeboks then Stevie standing still for an hour and a half in platforms...

Ya I was thinking the same thing.....if she's going to be doing alot of twirling, then I'm thinking reeboks.
