wry little bio of FM

Why do people always think Chris joined FM before she married John? Another pet peeve, besides the 'christie' issue.

Can't stand "Christie," "Christy" or "Chrissy" when applied to Christine. Yucka yucka yucka.

And what's this? "Bob Welch joined, but he too departed figuring the group was a dead-end. Apparently, he'd also had an affair with Fleetwood's wife."

Yawn

Stevie and Lindsey were married.

Bob Welch had an affair with Mick's wife.

Danny Kirwan went crazy and killed a man in Reno just to watch him die.

Christine and Stevie had an affair during the making of Tusk.

Lindsey was in the movie, Eraserhead.

Oh, and Clinton played sax on Don't Stop during his campaign.

Anything else?

Sheesh.

Whenever, I hear her referred to as "Chrissy", I always think of Suzanne Sommers.

The writer was off on several issues, including the wrong Bob. It was Bob Weston (not Western, as I originally spelled it. Shoot me now!) that had the affair with Mick Fleetwood's wife. A pretty cynical and factually flawed assessment.

I knew that spelling didn't look right....I was too lazy at that moment to double check. I'm guilty of that. It wasn't so much of a "pick" as it was a correction. (edited)

As the administrator of this site, I'd expect you to have less attitude and use better language.

And please don't call me "Bud." You don't know me.

HEY, Lis was kidding you(afaik, but I'm fairly CERTAIN of that). Most of us have a sense of humor here. Chill out, DUDE. :wavey:
Those who can't spell........probably shouldn't.
And, BTW!, she has a great attitude, and gives us this wonderful place to hang out. If you don't like it, the door's over there>. Don't let it hit you, where the good lord split you!
(sorry, but I'm getting pissed the more I read your reply). Step off.

Hi Lis! Thanks! Much appreciated.

I'm normally not so easily offended and have a great sense of humor! It's just hard, sometimes, to discern the tone of certain statements when all you have are words to look at, and can't hear the vocal inflections that reveal the actual intentions. Don't you agree? I think that is a point we should all consider.

I've been just little too uptight-- on needles and pins, so to speak --over things that have nothing to do with this board. The pressure comes out in odd ways. My sincerest apologies to you!!

They're accepted.

I think I spend enough time reading here that i now sort of know when someone is kidding, and the little faces such as  help also.!..but I guess not everyone is used to my sarcasm...that's just me, but I'm sorry if it offended you. And as you said, the written words don't always make it easy to discern the true intent. I was only playing!

BTW I had an awful week myself, so i hear you about the pressure.
