Lindsey
I was looking at a bunch of those photos from last year's tour (was it last year?), & I thought, "Gee, do you think Lindsey might have hyperhydrosis?"
Whaddya think? In other news, a bunch of us Usenet people are having a rollicking discussion of whether Murnau fits into the Expressionist tradition or the Romantic tradition as it influenced the UFA studios in the 1920s. See the thread Early Extreme Expressionist Films, & add your thoughts! http://snipurl.com/djqk |

I don't think he has it. If anyone is physically active for a long time they tend to sweat. And Lindsey is VERY active onstage while the others are more or less stationary, so of course he sweats a lot. |

Anyway, I'm seriously thinking about having the corrective surgery done. they use to just clip a nerve in the spinal column, but 50 to 60% had worse side affects, like sweating on their backs, at least I can wipe my hands easier. But now they go in and clamp the nerve so it can be reversed. I keep saying I'll ride it out for a little while longer....but man it's the pits. Dread shaking someones hands, its hard to write on paper, I could go on and on but i already have. Hope i answered your question! |
Lisa..
You hit the nail on my whole life with this. My aunt has it as well, so I have her to thank. LOL
I remember in high school one morning, I was running late, so I was nervous and kind of walking fast in the hallway in the midst of a million other teens. Anyways, I felt something hit my shoe, I look down and I have sweat running down my arm, onto my folders and books and then my shoe. EWWWWW!!! LOL If my body is hot, it's kinda bad, but these days, I'm cold a lot, so my hands and feet don't sweat as much. I think I had a major body change a few years ago because I used to be hot all the time, now I'm cold. Wierd. Well, there's some information about me you all really didn't need to know, but I told ya anyways. |

I love flip flops but can't wear them for a lengthy time, can't walk in them with slick feet. :( I have to wear ones with fabric on the surface. Teenage years were the worst, I guess with the raging hormones and all. Wrapping Christmas presents was rough. The tape and I couldn't get along. I really want this surgery, but it's scarey having your spinal cord messed with. Good thing is insurance covers it since its a gene thing. i don't know who else in my family has it. I've asked my Mom and she doesn't know, which makes sense, since people with it try and hide it.... |
Lisa...
I wear glasses, yes, in these days where having lasik is the norm, it seems. LOL I'm just not a doctor type of person, I don't even like going to the eye doctor and having that glaucoma puff test. I'm a woos. It's very frustrating and depressing at times. Like you said, the pre-teen and teen years were difficult. :( I don't wanna have any unnecessary surgery, but if you decide to have it, I hope it works out for you!! :)

I know that for excessive underarm sweating they can use Botox, I don't know if the same is true for hands. I don't have the hand/feet problem but do have the former. A white shirt will only last me one season. So now you know, boy do I feel liberated. ;)
