Wow, it's very intimate. It will be fun to see Stevie in such a small setting.

NOT A BAD SEAT IN THE HOUSE! :woohoo:

amber 03-14-2005 09:49 PM

Oh, crap, it's all seats, though, isn't it? seats - the bane of my booty shaking, have to walk around existence... There aren't really any bad seats, though, so that's good, I guess. Thanks for posting, Livia.

Hella yeah, Jacob!!! I was happy with the orchestra seats I got, and now I'm even MORE happy. I'm really hoping she pulls out one or two gems for this special get together...

Speaking of it being all seats, what do you think it's going to be like in regard to security? Do you think we're going to get yelled at for standing up and dancing? I'm hoping that we'll all at least be able to go to the stage for Edge of 17, however, I'm really curious as to what the proper concert etiquette is for such a small, indor and much fancier venue when compared to say, the outdoor amphitheaters.

I dunno - I'm missing my outdoor venue already. But someone in another thread said the security is VERY tight regarding cameras and such - they search your whole purse and all. So maybe that will translate into the whole "standing up" thing. Maybe if everyone does it, they won't be able to control us???? :D :D hehehehehehe...don't mind me, I'm just planning a mass rush....

A friend of mine use to put her camera in a tampon box in her purse. Just make sure you glue the flap closed, so it looks like a new unopened box. The tampons can be packed around the camera to keep it from making noise if they jiggle it. You might be able to get off a few (especially if you limit the flash). She would pack two. Then if they came for the camera, she would gice them a "bogus" one and keep the real one with the pictures. (She used disposbles....this was before digital camers) *sneaky* *sneaky* *sneaky* Most guy security gurads aren't going to mess with "those things".

You might get ejected if caught from Ceaeras, so just be prepared. Most just tell you to put the camera away. :) I am not sure of lighting with the new digitals (never tried it) So if you don't use a flash you have a better chance of being unnoticed. I am sure there are better spy types out there that will know. (I should go out and get a spy pen camera for my Lapel.....Now here are those bond movies when you need them?

When she played at the Alladin, the gurads were idiots and tried to stop the stage rushing at EOS. They failed. Have to see at Cearers. Why are all security guards such Pr*#$ks? They always seem to be. I don't care if they have a tough job, none of them have any social skills with the public.

That was veeery informative!!! :xoxo: :xoxo: I don't have a camera, though, I just care about standing up, dancing, and getting to the front... :)
So that's good news about the rush at the aladdin. :woohoo: most people will care about the camera thing, though, so that's good. And by all means, get that spy cam. I'm bringing my grappling hooks, harness, glass cutter, and Memory Erasing Gas-Watch to try to get to the front... :)

I wonder if she plans to utilize the large screen that covers the back wall... All images or something, to theme each song would be cool. That stage is huge, unless they are going to cut it off or put a back drop down.

Maybe if we dress up and pretend to be rich and important, they'll leave us alone. "Dahling, I just dropped a cool million in the casino... and you're telling me to sit down?" :: haughty affrontery ::

Yeah, but the prob is, rich people don't shake their bun, or want to stand up and move to the front, do they? We'll obviously have to pretend we are new, hip money....  The important thing is to Act Outraged That You Are Being Treated This Way, as far as i can tell...

Speaking of these great pics, I don't know if you noticed, but LL is actually the 11th row, there is no II. This cuts down at least one row you have to grapple over.
