Irish Comedian Dave Allen Dead at 68
'Dave Allen At Large' used to run on our local PBS station in the mid-80s, around 10 or 11pm, and anytime we had a vacation from school I stayed up to watch it. In the summertime, I never missed an episode.
I loved his sense of humour, and thought he was so cool. http://www.phill.co.uk/comedy/atlarge/allen01.jpg Irish Comedian Dave Allen Dead at 68 Sat Mar 12,11:17 AM ET LONDON - Irish comedian Dave Allen, who delivered his routines sitting on a stool with a cigarette and drink in hand, has died, his agent said.
