Thanks for posting -- very interesting to hear what non-Mac "fans" say about the album (and the band). Their opinion won't change mine tho -- still love Tusk!

Awww Tusk is the best, and the least they could do on that board is spell Lindsey right, it's really not that hard heh.

Well, I can see that these people don't have any "taste" in music. :confused: If you read all the replies, they don't even make sense. They're just trashing the album (Yeah, it sucks....), but they aren't backing it up with why it is bad. Some of these people appear to be hopping on the "I don't like it" bandwagon for the hell of it. I didn't read a single, good post for why it was a bad album. If you are going to trash something, I think you should at least be able to back up your arguement. :rolleyes:

There is another reason to disregard this crap. They obviously know so little about the band they can't even spell his name right. :rolleyes:

I wouldn't really take it hard. It's all subjective really, but many people at that board are particularly strange. Some of them are cool but I remember long ago there was this large thread that went on for I can't remember how many pages...it consisted of people swearing at each other, threatening violence and so forth, and all over some musician (can't even remember who).

I used to visit there when MOJO magazine was kind of cool. It's downhill now, and sometimes I'll go in there and see that every other thread is some kind of dissection of something or other related to the Beatles, David Bowie, or Bob Dylan. God forbid you actually like something else.

I agree - however, search The Ledge for "Lindsay" and see what comes up. ;) :laugh:

And all the posts aren't bad. There are a few positive reviews. What is horrifying is that these people rally into the same Lindsey-vs-Christine-vs-Stevie camps that WE do. :nod:

This is true. There were a post or two that somewhat takes up for the album/band.

Ooh, my kind of place. Unlike much of the Mac, their stuff can be dissected and studied over millions of times and it's always interesting to hear new interpretations and stories.

I guess. But it kind of gets old when done monotonously in every other thread. I noticed you deleted the Beatles when you quoted me...not a fan?

I can feel the Lindsey and Christine love on that board, but Miss Stevie isn't getting any respect. :laugh:
