Oprah!

Hi All,

Just wanted to wonder whether Stevie would ever be on Oprah, it would be such a great show, its weird that she has never been on before.

Its been 30 years of music and Stevie has had such an interesting life. Just thought I would bring it up anyway.

Write Oprah and ask her to have Stevie on.

I always wondered why she hasn't been on, too. But then it kind of made sense in a way... I actually thought of asking Oprah why she's never had FM/stevie on, too... :p

Oprah...wow...

That show soooo needs to be cancelled. She needs to disappear.

The reason why I believe Stevie's never been on Oprah or even Barbara Walters for that matter,
is because both of them are masters(/mistresses?:) at having their guests "open up".
If Stevie were ever to appear on either one of their shows I think she'd spill ALL her beans
and there'd be no need for her to write her autobiography:) (Yeah I know, dream on silly dreamer... - about her book:)

I can see Stevie sitting across from Oprah or Barbra Walters and just blurting out "I LOVE LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM!" and then running off the stage or something. It could prove to be a total disaster for her. Maybe that's why she stays away!

oprah

According to the press kit for Street Angel, Stevie was lined up to do Larry King Live and a whole hour show of Oprah...never happened (like many things).

I have often wondered if she was going to play the "I have been in rehab" card - but decided not to OR she just thought she was too large to be filmed. It is possible she had scheduling conflicts, but come on - one rearranges THEIR schedule for King and Oprah

Yeah. like that Lifetime special. I don't even remember the name of it.

What was the lifetime special?

I'd hate to see Stevie waste her time with Larry King. He asks the most inane questions, then interrupts, and never lets his guest answer a question or get a word in edgewise. Talking about shows that need to be cancelled....

As for Oprah. Hmm. I think she's probably never done it as a sort of protection. There are clearly things Stevie doesn't like to talk publically about (ie. she didn't talk about the drugs at ALL until she was long clean; ditto the whole rehab thing). She might request that certain topics not be broached, like her relationship with Lindsey, and I'd be surprised if most interviewers would agree to terms being set out. Who knows? I think an hour with Stevie, if she wanted to talk, would be heaven. Just wait til she releases that autobiography, baby! She'll be everywhere!!! :] :] :] :] :] :]

The day she refuses to talk about that is the day Oprah turns white.

I always thought that was exactly what she would talk about on Oprah, cause Oprah is like that. You know, triumph over "adversity" and all that? I don't see Oprah and Stevie's vibe mixing all that well, even though their signs are compatible...
